Privacy
Short version: JSLab collects nothing, and this site keeps no account for you.
The app
JSLab has no telemetry, no analytics and no crash reporting. Your code and tabs are saved on your Mac.
Apart from Ask AI (below), nothing else leaves your Mac unless you ask for it: installing an npm package reaches the npm registry, and code you run can fetch whatever it asks for.
Ask AI
Ask AI is optional. With a cloud provider (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini), each question sends the code in your tab, and the last run’s output if you turn that on, to the provider you picked, using your own API key. That provider’s privacy policy then applies. With Ollama, everything stays on your Mac.
Buying a license
Stripe handles the payment on its own checkout page, so this site never sees your card. Stripe keeps the record of your order. Your license key is emailed to the address you paid with, through Brevo.
This site
There are no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics and no tracking cookies, and no database of buyers: your license key is worked out from your Stripe order when it's needed, not stored. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles every request to it.
